God created Adam with a perfect body, environment, including a life-sustaining tree in the garden, as well as health laws.
“And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.”

Man’s survival depended on access to the tree of life as well as eating its fruit.
The tree’s fruit was an antidote to death. The leaves were for sustaining life and immortality. The condition for man’s immortality was obedience.
