07. Can souls die?

“The soul that sinneth, it shall die.”

Ezekiel 18:20.

“…and every living soul died in the sea.”

Revelation 16:3.

Answer: According to God’s Word souls die! We are souls and we die. Humans are mortal.

(Job 4:17, Romans 6:12, 8:11, 2 Corinthians 4:11, James 4:14, Job 7:7, Psalm 78:39, Luke 13:2-3, John 3:16).

Only God is immortal. (1Timothy 6:15, 16).

The concept of an immortal souls is in direct opposition to the Bible that clearly teaches that souls die.
